Farewell to the Class of 2025

Leavers Service

At the end of Term 3, came together to farewell the Class of 2025 at the annual Leavers Service. It was a heartfelt celebration of the memories, friendships, and personal growth that have defined their time at school. As Head Prefects Pascale and Lachlan shared in their reflections, the journey was filled with experiences that challenged them, shaped them, and ultimately brought them closer together as a year group.

In their final addresses, Pascale and Lachlan reflected on the breadth of their experiences. From Junior School traditions like the Easter Hat Parade and handball competitions to international exchanges, cultural tours, and community service in Cambodia, their time at Grammar was rich with opportunity, challenge, and connection. They spoke of leadership not as a title, but as something earned through empathy, integrity and a willingness to stand alongside others.

“True leadership,” Lachlan noted, “is about willingness, a willingness to listen, to adapt, and to grow alongside the people around you.”

Pascale added, “Being a prefect is just as much about learning as it is about leading.”

The handover of leadership was formalised during the Prefect Induction Service, where the new student leaders for 2026 were officially welcomed. Charlotte and Jack, incoming Head Prefects, accepted the responsibility with quiet confidence, ready to lead the student body through the next phase of school life.

As she addressed the new leadership team, Pascale offered a reminder of what leadership truly means: “Leadership is not about the loudest voice, but the one that listens with empathy and speaks with integrity…you will create something new, something that reflects your vision and your character.”

As the Class of 2025 concludes their time at , they do so with the support of a school culture that values exceptional teaching, opportunity, and a strong sense of belonging. They leave not just with knowledge, but with the wisdom, resilience and relationships that will guide them long after the final bell.
